Google's latest version of Gemini 2.5 Deep Think made history at the 2025 International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) World Finals, not only achieving a gold medal but also solving problems that no human teams could crack, marking a significant breakthrough in artificial intelligence's ability to tackle complex issues. The competition performance surpassed that of human competitors. On September 4th, the ICPC World Finals held in Baku, Azerbaijan brought together top contestants from over 3,000 universities across 100 countries, and finally 139 teams qualified.
